This little cutie is growing soooooo fast! She is only 1 years old and she is so smart. She talks so good and clear, sometimes I forget she is only 1. She loves going to preschool with me. She has to do everything my preschool class does. She is learning her sounds of her letters and learning to count. She loves to paint pictures. Today in preschool we painted with Q-tips, for the letter Q, she was so proud of her picture.

On Monday, I took these crazy girls bowling and for ice cream. Shae wanted to do something fun with her friends for her birthday. We decided to let her pick a couple friends and go bowling. It was so much fun hanging out with these girls. These girls are so cute, and such good friends.

Merry Chirstmas! Santa came to visit us, and he brought Shaelynn and Paeton everything they asked for and more. Kaecee got the bad end of the deal this year. Christmas Eve she started throwing up and continued on all night into the next few days. She was asleep when we opened presents. She finally opened her presents that night. It was so sad, cause she really didn't care much about any of her presents. She is finally feeling better and is now enjoying her Christmas presents. Ryan took the girls to church and they looked so pretty in their new dresses. Kaecee got a pretty dress too, she will have to wear it this Sunday.

Last night was the girls school Christmas program. The theme was Christmas around the world. Paeton's class sang a Hawaiian Christmas song, and Shaelynn sang a French Christmas song. Shaelynn also had to a part in the program, she did it so good. They both did a wonderful job. Oh I just love my girls!

We tried to go bunny hunting, but we couldn't find any bunnies so instead Ryan decided to teach the girls how to shoot the guns. Paeton had a blast! Shae not so much, and Kaecee just had fun playing in the weeds.

We went to see Santa! Kaecee was really interested in Santa. She wouldn't let him touch her but she talked to him and told him she wanted a baby for Christmas and she told him thank you. Shaelynn and Paeton both asked him for a Nintendo 3DS. We all got a picture taken with santa because it wasn't fair I had to be in the picture holding Kaecee and not Ryan, so we talked him into getting in it with us.

Paeton got to be a Indian for her school party. They made the cute little vests and headbands at school. For my preschool party my class got to dress up as pilgrims or Indians. Kaecee thinks she needs to do everything my preschool class does, so she dressed up as a Little Indian.

Last Saturday it snowed! Shaelynn and Paeton got to make their first snowman of the season. Kaecee was really interested in the snow, this is her first year that she is old enough to play in it. She wouldn't get in it,but she had to check it out.

This year for Halloween, Shaelynn was Dorthy, Paeton was a Cowgirl, and Kaecee was a Ladybug. Every year the elementary school puts on a carnival with the blow up slides. My girls had a blast!

Shaelynn is in 3rd grade and that means we have to do Science Fair. I turned it over to Ryan and told him this was all him ( his major is Science). They came up with the idea of seeing How Dirty the Elementary School is. We quickly found out how dirty the school really is. It made me sick!

First day of Kindergarten

Paeton started Kindergarten on Aug 24. Her teacher is Mrs.Day. She was pretty excited to go to kindergarten, I had a hard time with it. There was no tears when I dropped her off, and she had a wonderful first day.

Today she came home from school and had received the Good Helper Award. I'm so proud of her!

School started Aug 24th. Shaelynn started 3rd grade. She is on the other side of the school, and she has different times of recess and lunch. She is part of the big side of the school now. I can't believe how fast she is growing up. She was so excited to go to school. Her teacher is Mrs.Blackham, this is her first year teaching. It's going to be a wonderful year!

Washington DC day 5

Wednesday was day 5, and the day we went home. Our flight didn't leave until that evening so we had to see a few last sights. The first thing planned for the day was a tour of the capital. Senator Lee's intern took us on our own private tour. It was pretty neat to see. After our tour we were able to go sit in while the Senate was in session, that was pretty cool to watch them debate.

After our tour we headed back to Fords theater because Ryan had never been there and wanted to see it. Then we headed to the Museum of Natural History. By that time it was time to head to the airport to begin our journey home. I loved DC, it was an amazing place and I learned so much. I didn't really care too much for the heat and humidity, that is why my hair looks so bad in every picture.

It was our first vacation we have had without the girls, in the almost 10 years we have been married. I worried myself sick about leaving my girls especially Kaecee, this was the first time I have every left her. But we both lived thanks to Ryan's parents and my parents. It was so good to get away just the two of us.

Day 4 was Tuesday, and Ryan was in meetings once again all day. This day was really low key compared to day 3. The other wives husbands didn't have morning meetings so I got to be the 3rd wheel in the morning. They wanted to go see the White House, so here is another picture of me at the White House, this time in the front.

After the guys headed back to meetings, us girls headed to the Library of Congress.

After the Library of Congress, we headed back to our hotel to get changed into a dress to go meet our husbands and visit with Senator Hatch. After wards we headed to the NTF closing reception.

Washington DC Day 3

Day 3 was Monday, Ryan was in meetings all day. So me and the other 2 wives headed out to see more sites. The first place we went to was Arlington National Cemetery. This is Ryan's 3rd trip to DC and this is the place that he talked about so much. I couldn't wait to go there.

This was our 2nd day here, we got up early and headed to George Washington's home in Mount Vernon. This place was just beautiful. We were able to take a tour through his home. They were refinishing the front of his house so I wasn't able to get a picture of the house

We just returned from a amazing trip to Washington DC. Ryan had to go to a NTF conference and I begged him to let me come along. After finding out the other guys wives were going, Ryan agreed to let me go. We arrived in Washington DC on Sat July 23. The first thing we did was head to Gettysburg. It was so awesome to see.

Shaelynn played her 2nd year of coach pitch softball. She did such a good job, and she even hit a home run. She is really a good ball player. Ryan and I were able to be the coaches, it was a lot of fun coaching her team.

We took a much needed vacation to San Diego with Ryan's parents. The first day we left our house bright and early, it was a long day of driving. Kaecee did so good on the drive. We got to our hotel around 6:30, we checked into the hotel and then ate some dinner. Then we were off to pool.

A few weeks ago we went and visited our friends. They have a piece a land with horses, and a pretty little pond. We had dinner and roasted marshmallows. The girls got to go out on the pond. They thought that was so fun. We all had a great time.

My Graduate

Paeton graduated PRESCHOOL!!!! After 3 years of preschool, two graduations (Because her mother decided to hold her back at the last minute). She is finally on her way to Kindergarten. I am so glad I decided to hold her back a year. She has grown up a lot this last year, and has learned a lot. She has a wonderful group of friends she will be going to school and I couldn't be happier with my decision.

On May 25, she had preschool graduation. Paeton's part in the program was singing how to make a #4, and she did it perfect. I have had so much fun with Paeton this last year and she has been a major help with Kaecee. I am going to miss her next year and so is Kaecee. We love you Paeton!

Yesterday Shaelynn came home from school and told me she signed up for the Talent Show on the last day of school. I was a little surprised she would sign up but so proud that she has the confidence to do it in front of the school. She wanted to play her piano recital piece "The Chicken Dance". She did awesome!

Last fall Shaelynn started piano lessons. At first she wasn't a big fan of it, but now that she is understanding it she is doing so good. She had a end of year recital on Sunday May 22. She had to play the Chicken Dance, and she had to have it memorized. She worked so hard and her hard work paid off. She did a wonderful job! I am so excited she is playing the piano, I love to hear the beautiful music in my home.

On Tuesday, Shaelynn and Paeton had a dance recital. They have both worked really hard this year, and have gotten to be great little dancers. Its so fun watching them dance! Paeton got to dance with her daddy for one of the dances. Paeton loves daddy dance, I think Ryan had a great time too.

Last Saturday Shaelynn and Paeton had a dance competition up north. This was Paeton's first year at competition and she did such a good job. Both girls looked so cute and did such a fantastic job! I'm so proud of them.

Another day of Spring Break:
On Thursday we took a trip to the zoo. We went with Grandma and Grandpa Johnson, Trevor,Heidi,and Kellen, and Katy and Trey. Ryan couldn't make it and we missed him. This Beautiful Baby has turned 1
March 4, 2010

1 year later, my baby is now 1. This past year has gone by so fast. I have loved every minute of it. I'm sad that she is growing up so fast. She has turned into a pretty happy baby. Kaecee can say momma, dada, hi, baby, eye, she can point to her eye. She loves to give kisses. She weighs 17 lbs. She has a really bad temper, and no patience, I know she got that from her dad. For her birthday we had a small little party with family. She got clothes, a baby, cars, and a walker/doll stroller. She is a little confused, she thinks she needs to sit in it and be pushed instead of push it herself. Happy Birthday Kaecee! We love you!

Saturday Feb 5, 2011 Shaelynn was baptised and confirmed a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. What a wonderful day it was. Grandma Johnson made her dress, and she looked so beautiful. She has been waiting a long time for this day. Shaelynn had a lot of family travel to be with her on this special day. My parents were not able to make it. My dad broke his pelvis the day before the baptism. We were so sad not having them there but grateful for the family that was there. We are so blessed to have Shaelynn. We are so happy with the choices she has made to be baptised and follow her Savior. We love you Shaelynn!

For Shaelynn's birthday she wanted to go bowling. We had our family come celebrate with us. She also wanted a "Tangled" cake, (we love that movie). She is so excited to be 8. She told us all she wanted was scriptures. I'm so proud of her. We also decided to get her a new bike. She was so surprised when we brought the bike in. Grandma and Grandpa Johnson gave her a dress that Grandma had made her for her baptism. In a couple of weeks she will be getting baptised. It's so sad how fast she is growing up. We got dumped on once again with snow. One of the times Ryan measured it said 27in.

We had a wonderful Chirstmas this year. Shaelynn and Paeton both asked Santa for ipods and a barbie. Santa spoiled them like always, they both got ipods. Shaelynn got a green one and Paeton got a pink one. Santa brought them a tangled castle and the barbies to go to the castle. They were so excited! Kaecee was so much fun, this being her first Christmas, she wouldn't leave the presents alone until the day it was to open them she didn't care anymore. She got lots of clothes and a baby and a couple of toys. Ryan and I both got everything we wanted and more.

This year for Christmas Eve we took the girls sledding. We all had a lot of fun, then we came home and made a turkey dinner. We had to carve the pumpkins that we got from our field trip yesterday at the pumpkin patch. Shaelynn didn't get to go with us, school sure gets in the way. So we had to pick one out for Shae so she could carve one too. Kaecee loved playing in the pumpkin mess. After we got all the pumpkins cleaned out, Ryan took over at carving us so cool looking pumpkins.

Today I took my preschool class on a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch. The kids have so much fun running around and picking out pumpkins. This year was a bit cold but we still had a lot of fun.

This year I decided to try hunting deer with the muzzle loader. Its earlier than the rifle, and since Kaecee would be hunting with us I thought it would be easier to do this one. We decided to take all the girls and go up hunting. I loved having the girls with me watching me shoot a deer. They thought that it was so cool. They even got to help gut it out. Shae didn't care too much for that but Paeton did. Kaecee was so good during the hunt even though the weather turned out to be not that great, she loved riding around on the 4 wheeler and she didn't even cry when I shot the deer.

The bunk beds are finished! Kaecee is finally out of our room and into her own room and the girls are together in bunk beds. They absolutely love them. Ryan put a lot a time into these and they turned out so awesome!

Kaecee turned 6 months on the 4th. Yep I'm a bit behind. I took her in for her 6 month check up. She weighed 14 lbs and is 26 inches long. She is so tiny! I have never had a baby so little, and she was the biggest at birth. She is getting to be a easier baby, or maybe I just know how to make her happy now. She is still a mommy's girl, she also loves her daddy which is wonderful! She is loving her sisters, she loves to smile and laugh at them. She has two teeth trying to break through. She hasn't got the crawling down yet but she does the army crawl to get what she wants. It makes me so sad that she is growing up so fast, I just love this little girl.

Paeton started Preschool last week. After me worrying so much about sending her to kindergarten, and getting everyone opinion. I decided to wait and send Paeton to Kindergarten next year. So she is back with me for another year of preschool. She is so excited about the decision, and so am I.

Paeton also lost a tooth! She lost it a few weeks before she turned 5. We were school shopping and she came to me and said her tooth was loose. I was shocked because she hadn't mentioned it before now. I was in the bathroom at the mall feeding Kaecee and she sat in front of the mirror for 15 min and finally pulled it out all by herself. She was so excited to have the tooth fairy come.

Shaelynn started 2nd grade today. She was a little nervous about going this morning, but once she found her locker and her desk and that her desk was right next to Bryn's then she was good. She came home so excited, saying she had a great day and can't wait until tomorrow. She even got her clothes all put out that she is wearing tomorrow. She has a wonderful teacher named Mrs.Jacobsen. The kids just love her. I think this is going to be a great year. I am sad that my girl is growing up, I just can't believe she is already in 2nd grade.

Happy Birthday to Paeton! Paeton turned 5 today. What a fun birthday she had. On Saturday, we went to the pool with her cousins and went swimming and had cupcakes. Then Today we had a small family party for her. She asked for a bike for her birthday. She has been using Shaelynn's all summer because hers is just not a big girls bike, and Shae hasn't been to happy having Paeton always taking off on her bike. So finally Paeton got her bike. She got a lot of cute presents. She especially loves her cowgirl boots Grandma and Grandpa Taylor got her. She also can't wait to go sleep over at Grandma Johnson's to use her suitcase Grandma and Grandpa Johnson got her ( grandma Johnson lives next door). She is growing up to be such a beautiful girl! Happy Birthday Paeton! We love you!

If the summer came to a end and I didn't post any pictures of my girls riding horses. Every evening they want to go ride. They are always begging Grandpa Johnson to take them riding. They are getting so good. Paeton scares me a bit when she rides she loves to go fast, Shae is more careful and just goes slow. Paeton told me she wants to be in the rodeo when she grows up and do the barrel racing because she loves to go fast. Its sad to say but they ride better than I do. Even Kaecee got her first experience riding horses this summer.

This summer has been crazy, too many things going on that I didn't post our pictures from the Living Planet Aquarium. We took the girls back in May over Memorial weekend. Ryan's family all went to Colorado for vacation and we opted out because of Kaecee. The girls were pretty upset that we weren't going so we took them out to play. We went to Shrek the 3rd, they loved it then we went to the Aquarium. We had fun looking at all the exhibits.

Shaelynn, Paeton, and Mandy had to have the annual tradition of sleeping on the tramp before summer is over. My girls just love Mandy, I'm so happy she will sleep out on the tramp with them. Hopefully they get to do it again next summer! :)

Kaecee is now 4 months old. Wow! The time sure does fly. She is getting so big and fun. She weights 13 lbs and is 25 inches. She loves her mom and her daddy, and that's about it. She cries with about everyone else. She can talk up a storm and she has the cutest laugh and smile, that melts my heart.

Lamb Days

Over a week ago our town celebrated Lamb Days! It's such a fun week. Ryan and I started if off on Tuesday by playing in the Co-ed softball games. I thought I had got out of playing this year, my excuse was Kaecee I needed to take care of her but needless to say I ended up playing. On Saturday Shaelynn and Paeton rode on the float with the lamb day queens in the parade. They looked so cute up there on the float. After the parade we headed to the park where they have fun things for the kids to do. One of them was the dunk tank, Shae decided she wanted to try it out. She got dunked, and she thought that was way fun. The evening ended with the coed tournament and our team took 8Th out of 9 teams, we didn't do so good. Then fireworks which I think our town has the best fireworks ever.

Paeton played T-ball this year. It was her first year playing ball. She loved it! She loved to practice and she loved game days. It was a lot of fun watching her play.

This summer, Shaelynn tried something new. She did her first year of coach pitch softball. At first she was nervous about it but now she loves it. She has had some great coaches along the way (her dad, Mandy, and grandpa Johnson). Plus her coach pitch coaches. She has had a lot of fun and made some new Friends along the way.

This last week Shae played in the lions tournament. They started Wednesday and by Saturday they were playing in the championship game. They WON! Way to go Shae

Every year the Elementary school puts on a program for May Day. I have never seen anything like it until I moved here. Shaelynn's dance was so cute, they have been practicing all week and she did such a good job!

Last night was Shaelynn and Paetons dance recital. Paeton got to dance one of her dances with Ryan. The song was My Little Girl by Tim McGraw, it was so cute and brought tears to my eyes. They are growing up so fast, I'm really not liking it. They both looked so beautiful, and did such a good job!

Easter

We had such a wonderful Easter. We stayed home and watched conference and enjoyed being together as a family and reflecting on the reason for Easter. I loved that conference was the same time as Easter. My girls waited all day to do Easter eggs and finally after Ryan got home from the priesthood session we colored eggs. They had so much fun coloring them. The Easter bunny hid their baskets and they loved finding them. Shaelynn and Paeton both got a shirt and a DVD, Alvin and Chipmunks and Princess and the Frog. Even Kaecee got a Easter basket with a shirt in it.

Kaecee's Blessing

On Sunday March 28, Kaecee was given a name and blessing by her daddy. It was such a wonderful blessing. We had lots of family that came to share in this special day with her. Her grandma Johnson made her blessing dress and she looked so beautiful. We are so blessed to have Kaecee in our family, we love her so much.

Last weekend Shaelynn danced at a dance competition in Richfield. She loves to dance and looks forward to competition time. I wasn't able to take her so her Grandma and Grandpa Johnson took her. She had so much fun! She took First Place in Hip Hop and First place in Jazz and Second place in her other jazz routine. I was sad I missed it but I will be at the next one.
